Prestigious Hispanic Leadership Organization, NSHMBA, Appoints New Board Member
The National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA), a prestigious organization that has helped to foster Hispanic leadership since 1988, has just announced the appointment of Manuel Delgado, the CEO of Agua, to its Board of Directors. The board is comprised of 15 members that help advise the organization’s 36 chapters.
Delgado has an extensive background in working within the Hispanic community to help advise the careers of many other individuals. He has served as a board member for a variety of other non-profit organizations, including the American Marketing Association, American Advertising Federation, and the AAMA. He currently serves as a member of the Hispanic Leadership Council for the Houston Symphony. Delgado, as the CEO of Agua, a Hispanic marketing consulting firm, has worked with multiple national brands including Hewlett-Packard, Georgia Pacific, and Best Buy.
Delgado is thrilled to join NSHMBA, and was quoted by Market Watch as saying, “For decades, NSHMBA has been a driving force in advancing the careers of thousands of Latinos in the US, and I look forward to sharing my experiences and contributing to the future direction and growth of this great organization.” NSHMBA, through its many national chapters, helps to promote and built Hispanic leadership by encouraging and pushing access to higher education, and through providing members with professional development and career management.

NSHMBA has continued to roll forward, and held their annual leadership summit program on May 17, 2014. Over 100 members attended the summit and were able to learn about how to stand out in the business world, how SEO can be an invaluable resource for connecting to consumers online, and the significance of building corporate relationships through networking.
